June Long-Range Match Report
This past Long-Range match was fantastic. Thank you to all the shooters who attended the match. The match had a solid turnout and ended with 16 shooters, including one Palma shooter. The sun was out and the wind was low, however, the temperate remained relatively comfortable for a summer day in South Carolina…at first. As the sun climbed higher, the temperate also climbed, which brought out the common foe of summer shooting, the dreaded mirage. The match ended with a harsh and changing mirage. Nonetheless, the shooters kept composure and earned some great scores.
The top three shooters in F-Open were:
First: Templeton Fletcher with a score of 579 14X
Second: Henry Neale with a score of 572 21X
Third: Layne Howard with a score of 570 7X
The top three shooters in F-T/R were:
First: Kevin Baker with a score of 593 26X
Second: Wayne Cross with a score of 588 292
Third: Robert Herstine with a score of 578 14X
