Next Mach

The next Palmetto Gun Club Match will be held on April 14th.  This will be a 3×800 yard Long Range match.  This is an NRA approved match. Drinks and snack are provided.  Registration and setup starts at 8:30 AM and the match begins at 9:30AM.   Again, the match accepts credit/debit cards. There is a $1 service fee on top of the match fee to use a credit/debit card.

March Match Report

The March Mid Range match was fantastic. Thank you to all the shooters who attended the match. The match had a HUGE turnout with 24 shooters.  It was a great day of shooting!

 

The top three shooters in F-Open:

First: Greg Chapa with a score of 598 29X

Second: Brian Turlington with a score of 597 24X

Third: Peter Nistad with a score of 592 30X

 

The top three shooters in F-T/R:

First: Kevin Baker with a score of 598 34X

Second: Michael Barletta with a score of 596 36X

Third: Dawn Brandt with a score of 592 20X

There are additional opportunities in the area to shoot F-class and Prone.  Please check out Mid Carolina Gun Club, which holds a 300-yard match.  In addition, the Palmetto State Marksmen Association shoots at Ft. Gordon.  That club shoots a 1000-yard match.  Check with those clubs for more details.

Drinks and snack are provided.  Registration and setup starts at 8:30 AM and the match begins at 9:30AM.   Again, the match accepts credit/debit cards. There is a $1 service fee on top of the match fee to use a credit/debit card.

February Match Report

The February Long Range match was fantastic. Thank you to all the shooters who attended the match. The match had a Nice turnout, we started with 13 shooters and ended with 11 shooters.  It was a great day of shooting!

 

The top three shooters in F-Open:

January Match Report

The January Mid-Range match, first match of 2018, was fantastic. Thank you to all the shooters who attended the match. The match had a solid turnout and ended with 13 shooters, 8 of which were Palmetto Gun Club members, and two new to PGC  shooters.  The sun was out and the wind was not too bad, however, the temperate was Chilly. As the sun climbed higher, the temperature and the scores went up.  It was overall a great day of shooting!

 

The top three shooters in F-Open:

First: Chris Farmer with a score of 580 17X

Second: Peter Nistad with a score of 578 183X

Third: Henry Neale with a score of 571 11X

The top three shooters in F-T/R:

First: Michael Colley with a score of 580 20X

Second: Mark Sightler with a score of 579 22X

Third: Charlie Cheatham with a score of 578 15X
